The state government has modified the Diwali of government employees. The state government has decided that employees will be paid the month of October before the Diwali festival. Salary will be paid from 21 to 23 October. The 31 thousand 500 government employees of class 4 will be given a bonus of Rs. 3500 Diwali.

Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said, there will be three new medical colleges in the state. The government has announced to start a medical college in Porbandar, Navsari and Rajpipla. One college will be constructed at a cost of Rs 325 crore. The central government has approved the establishment of medical colleges in five districts, three of which have been announced today. Announcement of new three medical colleges will increase 500 seats. There are 23 medical colleges in 19 districts out of 33 districts. However, the Deputy CM also announced that all three newly created medical colleges are government.
"Motorists can produce digital documents. Digital documents do not mean scanned copy or a photo of driving license, RC (registration certificate) or insurance. They have to be stored on DigiLocker or mParivahan app," the official said.

An amended provision in the Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 allows citizens to produce transport-related documents such as registration, insurance, fitness and permit, the driving licence, pollution check certificate and any other relevant documents in electronic form.
